The Mosby at Welbourne event is a campaigner type event focusing on first person impressions. The event will be held on some of the best ground for reenactments. Most the ground has not change much in the 150 years since the Civil War. The area is filled with stately homes, crushed gravel roads, and stone walls to border the many horse farms in the area. Information has been posted on both the AC forum and Civil Reenactors forum. This event will be a tactical event with Federal forces setting up an outpost near the Goose Creek Bridge to help protect supply lines and to search out and destroy Mosby's command which has been harassing the Union supply lines. The Federal Force, infantry and cavalry, will work together to send out patrols looking for Mosby. Mosby's men will try to capture as many men and information as possible and disrupt the outpost when possible. Mosby will operate in around Welbourne Manor in an effort to disperse the Federal presence in the area. If you are interested, the registration form is attached to this page.
